>Now that Bill is off the tropical chart and soon to join forces with another low off Iceland on it’s way to my part of the world as nothing more than a source that brings us another round of rain and breezy conditions, at the very most, Bill’s remnant low brings us wet and windy conditions, but luckily this time of year is not known for gales. Famous last words.
Bill’s impact to Nova Scotia and even Newfoundland was not so big of a deal in the sense that there are winterstorms every year that probably pound this part of the world worse than what Bill did. There was probably a good period of Tropical Storm conditions and higher wave action that what would be generated from a tropical storm but the overall impact was not too bad, heavy rain and some gusty winds..
Ok, as for the rest of the tropics, there is an area of disturbed weather crossing north of the Leewards and this is heading into a favorable area for development the next few days.
Appologies for the short post but I am going to head off to bed as I have an earlier start to work tomorrow and would like a decent amount of sleep. I shall post more tomorrow and what’s ahead in the tropics.
Good night.
Thanks for reading.
