Northern Plains, Upper Midwest Shiver Coldest Start To April Since 1800s

It’s been a truly historic opening week to April 2018. In fact there’s never been a colder start (in recorded history) for many cities in the Dakotas and Minnesota and for others, including Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana and Ohio, the coldest in at least 80 years.
