Upper Midwest Continues To Shiver One Of The Coldest Opens To April In History

What a brutal open to April for the North-Central US. Perhaps the opening week of the month will go down as one of the coldest on record for the Northern Plains/Upper Midwest.

It bottomed out at 8 degrees which turns out to be the coldest April night since 1995 for the Twin Cities.

Tomorrow looks likely to be the coldest or one of the coldest April days on record for the Northern Plains.

Yep, these are the GFS late afternoon temps for the NP tomorrow. Ouch!
