With a strong jet stream close by this week, expect an up and down temperature regime through this week with mild ahead, cool behind the fronts.

After yesterday’s mild we’re back in the cooler polar maritime today with sunshine and frequent blustery showers but there’s moderation Wednesday as the next wind and rain maker moves through. Then we’re back in the cooler air again briefly Thursday before the next system approaches with while on Friday. Once the front moves through late Friday the strongest push of air this week moves in from Iceland with increased low level snow chances.
