Western Europe may be enjoying summer but it’s looking and feeling much more like winter in northwest Russia and Scandinavia lately. The strong western ridge responsible for breaking countless monthly heat records has given way to an unusually cold trough further east, counterbalancing the extreme on the other end.
We’ve a very impressive arctic blast for early JUNE in far northwest Russia extending into Scandinavia!
