May 18, 2017 will be remembered for it’s record breaking extremes. From 500+ severe weather reports stretching from Texas to New England of which 27 tornadoes were reported to UPPER 90-degree heat just east of the front to the 42 inches of snow in Colorado.

While you could be forgiven into thinking it was July 18 and not May 18, this was the scene yesterday in the Northeast.


Yesterday afternoon looking across NY Harbor to Manhattan.

Amazingly, it looked more like mid winter in the Colorado high country.
