Yesterday was downright spring-like, today is back to full blown winter and tonight, the biggest snow system of the year is lifting out of the Northeast after dropping up to 19 inches of snow in Connecticut.

Thanks to 50-60 mph winds along the coast, blizzard conditions affected parts of the coast from Long Island to Boston.

As expected, the low has underwent bombogenesis with pressure falling from 1002mb last night to 976mb as of 4pm Thursdsay.

Here’s a nice visible satellite as the sun set this evening.
