Typhoon Nida made landfall around 3.35am near Hong Kong Tuesday morning packing damaging winds and flooding rain significantly disrupting transportation and infrastructure with schools and businesses closing. Several people we’re injured due to dozens of trees falling along with the collapse of scaffolding. The wind tunnel effect plays a major role here.
