First Widespread ‘Surge Of Summer’ On It’s Way From Paris To Glasgow

Now that we’re turning the upper air pattern on it’s head by reversing the high over low, we’re finally in a position to plug southern warmth as the supressed subtropical high will finally get to lift north.

You may want to dust down those BBQ’s as Fri-Sun is likely to see the first low 20s for many. Depending upon sunshine, low 20s may reach as far north as Glasgow during the weekend.

With the trough Iberia trough pushing the high up into Scandinavia early next week, it looks like the best conditions in both sun and warmth may be over Scotland, Denmark and throughout Scandinavia while more unsettled across Iberia, France and southern parts of the UK.
