It was another cold start to the day on both ends of the British Isles but Atlantic low pressure is closing in and will bring modifying southerly winds as we draw this week to a close. By Sunday, most of the UK should enjoy double digits and that’s above freezing of course!

Just look at the rather exceptional height rises throughout the arctic day 5 through 15 off the EPS Control. Now that looks like a full scale SSWE reaction to me.
