As the title suggests, snow chances are on the increase this upcoming week with the fun and games likely to kick in mid week as low pressure moves into the North Sea and our flow becomes northerly.

For Scotland, northern England and Wales as well as Ireland, snow is likely to come from snow showers blowing in on an increasingly cold northerly flow or via fronts swinging into the cold air that will build through the week as heights and thicknesses lower with day temperatures dropping below freezing late week.
As for southern and eastern UK, we’re closely watching a system tracking across northern France into Belgium Friday. Modelling is now seeing snow even for London as well as Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.
