NORTHWEST EUROPE: High Pressure Builds To End Sept

Late I know but as promised, here’s some thoughts on next week and through the rest of the month.

Little change overall with a northerly blocking high set to re-establish. The brunt of the unsettled weather has been over Iberia into France, Low Countries, England and Wales with Scotland and Northern Ireland let off lightly.

A more settled pattern looks set to become more widespread into next week and through the remainder of September, particularly for the Northern UK and Scandinavia while an upper trough lingering over Iberia.
