US: Watching For Tropical Mischief, Heaviest Rains Shifts East From Texas

The US pattern is such that heights are building as we head into summer’s first month but heights are lowering underneath across Mexico, the Gulf and Caribbean. That bares watching and the modelling are even hinting at tropical mischief.

ECMWF appears to have something drifting north over Cuba towards South Florida day 7-10.

GFS sees something east of Florida.

While not completely dry by any means, it would appear Texas and Oklahoma should start to ease off on the rains with the core of heaviest precip shifting east.

California and the Southwest look to finally heat up this weekend into early next week but where it’s been wettest, it remains cool and that cool along with the rain shifts east.
