Based on the large-scale hemispheric pattern shift with -AO returning along with -NAO/-EPO, the models are seeing the rebuilding of the AK/Arctic Canada high and therefore Pacific warming is all but temporary with much colder, Arctic air soon to return as we head towards late January.
