RARE: Hawaii Threatened By TWO Hurricanes Within Days

As you know, Hawaii is currently under the gun of not one but two hurricanes with hurricane warning’s up for Hawaii’s Big Island. Pretty rare given they only had a direct hit by a storm or hurricane twice since 1954.

While Iselle is expected to weaken to a tropical storm before impacting paradise, the system has in fact looked more and more impressive through today.

Little change to the forecast track via the Central Pacific Hurricane Center.

Though waters are borderline at the surface, their cooler beneath and thus it’s expected that Iselle will weaken from a Cat 2 Hurricane to a storm by the time it reaches the eastern chain.
