Scotland

Sunday

Largely dry with spells of sunshine mainly in the West. Mist and low cloud dominate the East, especially on the coast and through the Central Belt. Where sun shines, expect 12-15C, where mist/low cloud lingers, 5-8C. Tonight, mostly cloudy, lows 2-5C.

Monday

Dry start gives way to scattered showers pushing up from the south through the second half of the day. Highs 8-14C. By night, rain spreads northwards, lows 4-8C.

Tuesday

After a damp start, skies should brighten through late morning into the afternoon. Always cooler, cloudier in the East. Highs 5-7C on N Sea coasts, 14C in sunnier West. Overnight misty, murky, lows 2-6C.

Wednesday

Mostly cloudy, fairly cool, especially on North Sea coasts once again. Highs only 5-8C on the coast, nearer 15C in the sunnier West. Misty, murky once again overnight. Lows 3-7C.

Thursday

Largely dry with mix of sun, cloud and mist. Where sun shines in sheltered West, highs may top 14C, on the coast with brisk easterly breeze, just 5C. Mainly cloudy overnight, mild at 6C.

Friday

Cloudier with spells of rain, cooler with highs of just 8-11C. Cloudy overnight, lows 5-8C.

Saturday

Drier but staying cloudy, highs a touch milder at 8-13C. Mixed skies overnight with lows of 3-7C.

England

Sunday

Dry with good spells of warm sunshine, highs of 15-21C, possibly the warmest day of 2014. Mostly cloudy overnight, lows 3-8C.

Monday

Dry start but cloud increases as pulses of rain spread north through the second half of the day. staying mild, 13-19C. Cloudy, mild overnight, 5-8C.

Tuesday

After a damp start in North, misty South, it’s another dry, bright and mild to warm afternoon. Highs 14-20C. Mixed skies overnight, 3-7C.

Wednesday

Showers impact the Southwest, West but drier further East. Where cloud, fog, onshore breeze persists, it only hits 5-8C, where sunny, 15-20C. Mixed skies, 4-8C overnight.

Thursday

Cloudiest, dampest conditions will be in the Southwest, staying drier, brighter in Central parts, Cloudy, misty on the East Coast. Highs 6-19C. Mixed skies overnight, 3-8C.

Friday

Cloudier with outbreaks of rain possible across a broader area of England, cooler as a result. Highs 8-16C. Cloudy, mild overnight, lows 4-8C.

Saturday

Mixture of sun and cloud with some scattered showers, highs 8-16C. Cloudy by night, lows 4-8C.

Wales

Sunday

Dry, bright and fairly warm with highs of 14-18C. Mixed skies overnight, lows 3-6C.

Monday

Scattered showers with spells of sunshine in between. Highs 12-15C. Damp and cloudy but mild overnight. Lows 5-9C.

Tuesday

Misty, foggy start makes way for bright or sunny skies through the afternoon. Highs of 12-15C. Mixed skies overnight. Lows 4-8C.

Wednesday
