High 44 degrees Low 33 degrees
RAIN: Light rain at times
A generally cool and cloudy start with forst and icy patches in places where skies were clear. light rain at times through the day and a generally mild day with yet another dominated by heavy, low cloudcover. The daytime temp hovered around 40 degrees all day and well into the night but slow warming commenced around 9pm and warmed to a late evening high of 44 degrees before midnight. I can report this morning approx 1″ inch of fresh snow tracks covering the road at the 1,531 foot elevation around the small village of Wanlockhead in Dumfries and Galloway, The UK’s highest village.
