>ARCTIC OSCILLATION FLIPPING NEGATIVE ALONG WITH THE NORTH ATLANTIC OSCILLATION AS EXPECTED

>If you think the warmth of November will continue, think again. The change is occuring and the stratosphere is warming over the Pole and ever colder air is discharging south, bit by bit. The Rockies and Plains is in for a tough few weeks and as fully explained by myself back at the close of October, the core of cold will be stationed further west and as a result the worst of winter is likely there over the next 4 weeks but the eastward progression of the “Core of Cold” will happen throughout the course of December and by Christmas, it is likely there will be a lot of snow cover from the Rockies to Eastern Seaboard, perhaps as far south as North Texas to North Georgia!

Official Nov 1, US Winter Forecast Release

The snow spreading across Texas now is signalling my friends and even down in Houston, snow may occur, 3rd year in a row?

We here have enjoyed cooler air after a rather wet and mild month… So, if both the US and UK have endured a warm November, why shouldn’t we both get some colder, snowier weather now since the NAO is turning to negative as well as AO. The AO is key to releasing the cold from it’s gates, whilst the NAO holds the keep to directing it into both western Europe and eastern North America. Snows and colder air is on the move and as this month matures, we shall be more cold enter or regions. I expect a major snowstorm between now and Dece 18, perhaps in the week leading to Christmas and a major cold to follow from the Midwest to East Coast.

Denver, you guys are in for a brutal few days and weeks ahead. Major cold is set to hit the Rockies whilst the cooler, but not colder starts to bleed into the Northeast and Southeast. It’s from Denver to Dallas and that whole area which should be expecting a very cold period.. It’s knkocking on your door right now…

As for us. Well the cold we just experienced is a little taste of what will be true winter in about 2 weeks from now. Again, like the East Coast US, I believe a widespread snowfall will impact much of the UK and followed by a Scandinavian High which will bring a cold Christmas! Below freezing all day from Glasgow to Edinburgh on Chirstmas Day! Nights that drop into the teens!

Thanks for reading.
