The day started dry, bright and breezy but as usual turned showery with outbreaks of sunshine through fast moving clouds. Tonight feels chilly with a freshening breeze under periods of clear moon-lit skies but showers are pressing up from the southwest. Temperatures should rise gradually during the overnight as air arrives from the subtropical Atlantic onboard an intensifying SW flow. Tomorrows highs should top the mid-50s!
