>Ida creates a stir in the last gasp of a forgotten Hurricane Season

>For a hurricane enthusiast like myself, the 2009 season will be quickly be forgotten about and will go down for producing all but two landfalling tropical systems, both of which tropical storm status as they came ashore on US soil..

After a gusty, soaking hit on the Florida Panhandle, Ida’s remnant low will head north and I believe the biggest punch from this once warm-core, fully tropical-born system will deep off the eastern seaboard and with interaction with a high over the Northeast, a strong gale will set up from the North Carolina Outer Banks to Maine with some gusts to hurricane-force are likely.

I intend to post and update these thoughts later. Right now I am going to relax and get myself an early night.. Had 3-4 hours sleep and been up since 2.15am and it’s been a 12-hour day of stress and things not going the way their suppose to..

Thanks for reading.
