>Brilliant Clear Skies, Calm Winds and frost!

>It is simply a delightful winter-like or fall-like morning to waken up to here in Lennoxtown. The low this morning here at the house was 30 degrees reached at 7.40am and now with the rise of sunshine and increase of solar energy to the ground we’re warming nicely. Still a point of year when the sun’s energy warms us suffiently back towards 50 or even low 50s when the air is dry enough. I love those diurnal fluctuations. However indeed when a colder air mass is in place, we can just as easily dive into the upper 20s by early November only to recover to the low to mid-30s. Today I am predicing a high between 48 and 50 by mid-afternoon and another cold night ahead.

The frost glistens off blades of grass and on top of cars, looking out over the fields and hills to the north of our house, it’s simply wonderful.

Later today when I get home from my wife and I’s trip to Fife, I shall intend posting on Ida and other weather events reaching the news these days as well as perhaps a little long range discussion.

Have a great Sunday and Thanks for reading.

    >Yes this heatwave centred over the UK. I've heard reports of people hitting the beach to soak up the rays. My chooks have been dropping one by one with the intense heat building. I've been kicking back in my shorts.
