The past several days around the UK have displayed some gorgeous mild weather with mostly sunny skies and for a change the first real periof of stable and settled weather since June. In fact when my wife was down in the far southwest corner of Wales, the lady who owned the guest house in which we stayed in said that this was the best period of consecutive “good days” since June. When there’s a wind blowing, you can deffinately feel the autumnal air as we enter mid-September and the summer-like feel starts to fade. A little touch of Indian summer but it’s really not that warm like in recent Septembers which have seen days near 20 or slightly over 20C even this late on. I remember back to the day before my wife and I got married it was into the mid and upper teens C on October 27th, 2005 and that year like a few back around 2005 and 2006 did we have any frost up until late October. Those were the warmest winters back then with little frost or snow. I do recall both September 2007 and 2008 where the first frosts came around mid month.. England saw warm weather in 2005 and 2006 stretch well into October, so are we starting to see cooler weather arrive earlier as solar cycles trend lower and lower and winters begin to get colder as we may be on the bondery of a new cold period on earth and the Modern Warm Period is ending and will be finished by 2016?
Anyway, it’s been warm in western Canada and cooler in eastern Canada, where’s it’s in the 30s in the western Canada, the east of the country is seeing frost at night! More on this here!http://valleyweather.blogspot.com/2009/09/warm-west-cool-east.html

More later.

Thanks for reading.
