The Chinese capital, Beijing observed it’s coldest temperature since 1966 back on January 7, 2021. Thanks to a cold front driving a reinforcing blast of Siberian air south, the thermometer plummeted to -19.6C. The record cold comes in the midst of possibly one of China’s coldest December’s in recent memory. December temp anomaly.
