Yep it’s been snowy in Chicago lately, so much so it’s been record breaking!

With 20 below normal air over Montana and 20 above normal in the Southeast, there’s a natural fight in between.

This comes in the form of a storm series.

With track SW to NE but just south of Chicago, this is a snowy pattern for the Windy City.

A storm track running from New Mexico up through Indiana brought a series of snow systems through Chicago last week and this weekend.

The ground is covered with snow, the lake near the shore is covered with snow, everything is covered with snow! The recent snows have certainly made up for the lack of snow during the first half of the winter.
