Chicago sees record-tying 9th straight day with measurable snow

Yep it’s been snowy in Chicago lately, so much so it’s been record breaking!

With 20 below normal air over Montana and 20 above normal in the Southeast, there’s a natural fight in between.

With track SW to NE but just south of Chicago, this is a snowy pattern for the Windy City.

A storm track running from New Mexico up through Indiana brought a series of snow systems through Chicago last week and this weekend.

The recent snows have certainly made up for the lack of snow during the first half of the winter.
