Late White Christmas/Boxing Day 2017 for parts of S Scotland, N England, More snow moves in tonight!
Last year witnessed a wild Christmas Eve to Boxing Day period with severe gales, record warmth and a late white Christmas followed by cold and snowy Boxing Day.
This year has been a little less extreme but we did witness a late white Christmas/Boxing Day across parts of central, southern Scotland and northern England as colder air was pulled in on the rear of low pressure.
Models did a good job seeing the late Christmas Day snow some 5 days out.
