No change in the overall setup from Friday. Instead of fine sunny September weather, we appear to have stormy September weather on the way later this week and into next.
According to the latest run of the GFS the first ‘windy’ low hits Thursday with coastal/high elevation gales generating rough seas.

In it’s wake, it may be chilly enough for the first snows to fall over the highest Scottish mountains.

Then we have much more ‘autumn strength’ lows moving in early and mid next week with the first widespread gales and coastal/high elevation severe gales.
