There’s an abrupt shift now underway for the East and despite this weekend’s winter-like slap in the face, the models continue to persist with a NEGATIVE in the Gulf of Alaska extending down towards California which supports continued storminess into the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia with western trough and continued ridging for the central and east.

This weekend will be a shock to the system.
