US April To Open With Late Winter Barrage Across North While Summer Starts Early In Southwest

A system separating cool from arctic shall speedily sweep ESE this weekend reopening the door to winter once again despite it being April. Not one but two significant snow systems are poised to sweep across Montana, the Dakotas, Minnesota into Wisconsin over the next 7 days with reinforcing shots of late season arctic air.

As well as the heavy snow… it’s going to be frigid!

Then another system forms and slides east on the further south boundary and threatens snow for the Mid-Atlantic into the S Northeast.

Then once that system clears out to sea, yet another N track system brings a swath of snow back across the N Tier.
