All signs point to the end of an historic June 2017 Southwest heatwave but records continue to fall. Death Valley, CA yet again hit a record Sunday with 125 degrees following a record 127 the previous day. Death Valley has exceeded 120 degrees on 9 straight days and exceeded 125 degrees on 3 straight days. Record for number of consecutive days exceeding 125 degrees is 10!
