What a difference a year ending May last year verses this year for New York and Northeast… May ’16 ended toasty in the Big Apple but this year, I guess the AC can remain off.

What’s interesting is while May end hot in the Northeast last year, it was a colder month overall compared to this year.

Looks like energy bills throughout the Great Lakes and Northeast should remain low through the first half of June as the pattern looks set to remain cool and wet in the East but drying out and warming up through second half.

The Pacific high finally looks to be nudging in off the Pacific providing warmer, drier weather from San Diego to Seattle. 100+ for desert.

National drought situation looks good and next 10 days should help the Southeast and Florida.
