Another weekend, another storm with extremes. This time it’s the Memorial Day weekend where there’s a lot of outdoor activity from travelling to grilling. You know the drill, cool, dry Canadian air sweeps out of Alberta over the Rockies while hot builds up the West Coast and hot, humid conditions from Texas to Florida thanks to flow from Caribbean and Gulf.
In between we’ve another major severe weather and flash flood threat.
Ahead of the system, air temps are rising beyond 100 with heat indexes pushing 120.
Yesterday saw heat indexes to 117 in McAllen, TX.
Today’s forecasted highs.
On the cool rear… snow!
Colorado this morning…
On the West Coast, records shall be threatened.
In between… Severe weather!
