Today is the day Americans home and abroad have been waiting for. If your heading to the polls today, the weather is fine and generally warmer than normal coast to coast with the exceptions of the mid-section from Houston to Chicago where you can expect some wet weather.
As for the warmth, well it’s been relentless through the fall so far. Look at how much the Southeast drought has worsened from August to November.
The warmth is about to get a kick out of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic later this week as the deepest, coolest trough of the season drops south out of Ontario.
Any snow is an inland event!
Could see some pretty cold numbers in the sheltered interior this weekend.
