Written by on July 26, 2016 in Summer 2016, United States of America with 0 Comments

Despite the heat of late in the Northern Plains, temperatures this month have been running near normal and with cooler weather now pushing down from Canada, July is likely to stay near normal if not slightly below. However, the west of Texas extending into New Mexico with the bulls eye reaching south-central Colorado, it’s been a hot month across the South and the positive anomaly is growing in the Northeast along with the drought.

While some continue to warm, the Pacific Northwest continues to cool and this could fall within a top 10, even 5 cold July.
