As expected even prior to the start, Wimbledon, like the French Open has experienced significant rain delays this year and therefore we have rare ‘middle Sunday’ tennis today. The last time this happened was back in 2004. Middle Sunday tennis has only occurred 4 times in the tournaments 130 year history.
Looks like the weather is playing ball for this rare event.
Wimbledon looks to see dry conditions both today and tomorrow.

Another system moves in and across England and Wales through Tuesday and then high pressure builds for the second half of the week, finally forcing the jet north.
Unfortunately not all of the UK enjoys warmer, sunnier weather as Scotland, perhaps Northern Ireland sees cool, cloudier, damp conditions while in the sun and with SW winds, mid, possibly upper 20s is possible across southern areas.
Enjoy the 2-3 day stretch as low pressure returns to all by next weekend.
This is followed by a cool, showery NW flow before another system pushes in.
No sign of any prolonged hot spell through at least mid July.
I am writing this in the early hours of Sunday morning. Due to a sudden change in family circumstances overnight there will be no video today and posts in the coming days may be shorter than normal. I appreciate your understanding.
