A quick update on Tropical Storm Colin. He’s stronger but looking windswept with shear displacing convection to the east.

Water temps appear warm enough to maintain a moderate to strong TS as it comes ashore within the Florida Bight but shear may hold back further intensification.

GFDL sees strongest winds on south side with little on the north as it reaches landfall but notice once it enters the Atlantic, winds strength and try to wrap around the centre more. Perhaps intensifying into a hurricane as pressures rapidly fall as it crosses the Gulf Stream?
