91F To Heavy Snow To Near 0F In Montana, Major Cold To Invade Lower 48

It’s been pretty hot lately across Alberta and Saskatchewan with a lot of headlines of course coming out of the Fort McMurray area. Sadly this situation remains critical as the fire continues to grow.

That heat extended south of the border with Montana reaching the low 9os. Amazingly a system sweeping through the N Rockies early this week will push an unusually cold May air mass through and that means heavy snow…

Could be particularly chilly Tuesday afternoon and night in the wake of the snow.

This system and cold is really a hint at the bigger cold outbreak which floods the Plains, Midwest and possibly the East, particularly late week and through next weekend.
