Back in the cold zone and we remain locked in this significant end of April cold blast.

This set the stage for another winter’s morning across a large swathe of the continent.
This morning air temps.

Some brutal wind chill over parts of Highland Scotland, Germany and the Alps following fresh snowfall overnight.

We see a change later today into Thursday as a low moves in from Iceland across Scotland and eventually the whole UK bringing less cold air and the return of wind, rain and hill snow.
We could have significant snowfall with this low late week but I suspect through the weekend, we see air the gradually warm as Atlantic air makes in roads. Next few mornings look cold beneath clear sky and light wind, especially over UK and continent snow cover but look at how we go above normal into next week.
First 21C quite possible later next week.
