Both Memphis and New York City recorded no subfreezing temperature in December for the first time in history.

As well as the warmth, rainfall too has been very impressive and helped many see a top 5 wettest year (2015) on record).

Recent record rainfall in Missouri has killed up to 16 people.

Hard to below there was drought at the start of the year then for it to return during the summer in Dallas, TX.

Very impressive 10-day rain totals for Georgia. Atlanta saw 3rd wettest year on record in 2015.
