The spring warmth continues (as expected) to lift north and in response, snow cover continues to shrink.

These temp anomalies across the country say it all. SPRING FEVER!
As stated, 60s have reached the Boston suburbs, if not the city itself today.
Temps this afternoon have topped 60 in Philly, NYC and even around the Boston area.

A system gathering over the Mid-South will lift a shield of moderate to heavy rain up through the Tennessee and Ohio Valley over the next 3 days, significantly increasing the threat of flooding.
As the rains push north over the eastern side of the country, high pressure and the first heat wave of the season settles over California and the Southwest this weekend.
Then we have the chance for LATE WEEKEND snow over the Northeast.
