
The strongest storm of the season drives flooding rains and damaging winds through California today. While winds of up to 147 mph roar over ridges near Reno and Lake Tahoe, nearly 9 inches of rain has fallen in the Venado area north of the Bay Area. Widespread flooding has occurred.
