US Arctic Outbreak Comes In 2 Waves, Covers Most Of US In Snow, Could Be Top 5 Nov Outbreak…

Written by on November 10, 2014 in United States of America with 0 Comments

We have one of the biggest cold outbreaks in history now diving into the Lower 48. This pattern appears to deliver TWO waves of cold of which the second is likely to be stronger since snow cover will be extensive with wave 2. Wave one lays the ground work for wave 2.

This is an unbelievable map. Something that would be highly impressive in mid winter never mind mid November.

Todays see a significant snow storm for the Twin Cities as a storm system rides the leading edge of the arctic high. Once the carpet is laid and the high sinks south, expect lows near or below zero mid to late week.
