Looks to STAY OFF THE US COAST. Could become a strong storm, produce heavy surf against EC.

2) heavy east coast rain event

With a trough centred over the OH-TN Valley and high pressure (Bermuda high) over the West Atlantic, a tropical flow will bring heavy, potentially flooding rains from Florida to S New England this week. Heaviest rains will be over the coastal Carolinas as per the QPF map for the next 3 days below.
