After a damp, dreary and rather breezy day, conditions stay cloudy with light and patchy rain overnight. Winds ease overnight across the Western and Northern Isles after gales today. Lows dip down to around 9 or 10C widely.

Monday should be a drier day with a mix of sun and cloud but staying fairly cool with highs of only 14-16C.

Turning wet from the west Tuesday.

It’s been a mix of sun and cloud across much of England today with rain covering the North, edging slowly south through this afternoon. It’s been a warm and humid day with highs topping at least 26, perhaps 27C this afternoon just north of London. Cloud, mist and cooler temps along South and Southwest coasts.

Overnight will see the rain in the north work south but it looses intensity as it does so all but arriving into London during the night as cloud.

Rain spreads into western areas later Tuesday.

Monday will be cooler but largely settled and dry with highs of 18 to 22C.

After a wet afternoon and evening across the North, drier with sunshine in Mid and South Wales, conditions dry some overnight with lows of 8-12C.

Into Monday and while it’s a largely sunshine and cloud mix, some showers will spread across the country through the afternoon. Highs of 15-18C.

Tuesday will see rain push in from the Irish Sea and this will spread across the country later in the day. Highs of 15-17C.

Northern Ireland

Tonight will be cool and breezy with some showers here and there. Lows tonight dip to around 8 or 9C.

Through tomorrow and it’s a largely sunshine/cloud mix with some showers around. Staying cool at 14-16C.

More rain arrives by Tuesday with a freshening wind.

While it’s not a particularly wet picture this evening across Ireland, there’s little in the way of sunshine and through tonight and into Monday, the cloud hangs around. Lows dip to near 10C tonight while highs rebound to around 15-19C Monday with a few showers dotting the landscape.

Tuesday will see rain spread across the country. Highs of 14-17C.
