I have been concerned for days now about the potentially explosive weather we may face during Wednesday or Thursday of this week as low pressure and heat/humidity collide.

Tonight we have seen what the weather could well do widely tomorrow as thunderstorms pushed through Belfast tonight. These storms dumped big rains in a short period of time causing significant flooding and this will be repeated across parts of Scotland, Northern and western England and Wales tomorrow. The greatest risk will be late morning through tomorrow afternoon as temps build towards 27C over Southern England, this heat will push up against the cold front working east and so powerful thunderstorms will blow up and as a result we could see epic rains causing flash flooding.
