In coming weeks and months I intend on studying and showing you more and more examples of the vast array of computer forecast models we have for short, medium and long range which we have at our fingertips each day. This will help broaden our forecasting skills, teach and tell us things we never knew before. It may also help us in the right direction, perhaps answering questions which have bothered us about a particular aspect of the weather we could never grasp. I want both you and I to learn more and I intend on showing you, step by step WHY a pattern or even a weather event is occuring rather than just acceptiing it for what it is. Remember, more often than not, things may not be quite like they seem or appear to be. There may be underlying factors or forces at play. By foreseeing these often overlooked or unseen aspects of weather, we can better forecast the ‘unexpected’. By understanding a particular weather feature or pattern, this helps us understand it’s evolution and the driving force which created and controls it. By understanding that little bit more about a pattern, we can see more clearly what has been before and more importantly, what may lie ahead. I shall provide examples of this in a June outlook I have coming later this evening for you.

I’ve always strived to know the WHY behind the what. I’ve never been able to rest easy by knowing that it’s going to rain tomorrow, i’ve always wanted to know why it’s going to rain or why one sunny day is warmer or cooler than the last equally as sunny day, why the wind is blowing out of the east and not west.

As a subscriber, you will be one step ahead of most as I take you into the 7-10-20 day period, foreseeing possible pattern development, changes and aspects others may not look at. I hope to look at the autumn and even winter season over the next few weeks and from there I shall present a weekly update on what the models are showing us for the autumn and winter season ahead.

The summer of course comes first and while tonight I glance at the month of June, next week I will look at July and August and what the models are showing.

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank you for subscribing to my new, custom built website which I hope you enjoy. In coming weeks I hope to integrate more features for you.
