Get Ready Southern England! You May Have Another Battering Coming Your Way Late This Weekend, Blowtorch Setting Up From Balearics To Moscow

Just when you thought the past 36 hours has been wild, think again! It appears models are in good agreement that a low will develop along or just off the southwest French coast and track north towards the UK through this weekend This would be a third storm to impact the Southern UK inside 7-8 days!

While some models have this feature practically reaching the South Coast of England on Sunday bringing more very heavy, drought-busting rains and gales, others such as the GFS have it tracking off to the west well to the south of the UK, this feature is well worth watching closely as this far out, it could change drastically.

Even a glancing blow would spread yet more much needed rain into the drought areas stretching from Cornwall to London on northwards up through the Midlands. Winds, like we saw with the current system would likely top 60 mph on the Channel coast. I shall closely monitor this system and it’s development and keep you up to speed throughout. Read more!
