UK Low Sticks Around With Heavy Rain Moving Into Eastern Scotland Tonight

With the low meandering around the UK throughout the next 48 hours this means a continuation of the sunshine and shower regime with showers perhaps becoming a little more widespread with some clustering together to give longer spells of heavy rain. As we’ve seen for several days now these will be sharp showers packing hail, thunder, lightning and torrential downpours.

With the low slowly creeping up the eastern side of the UK, it’s eastern Scotland which needs to watch out for a night and Friday of heavy rain, this may fall as snow over the hills of Perthshire and Grampian, perhaps into the central Highlands.
