High Pressure Continues To Keep Britain and Ireland Fine, Dry and Quite Warm In Places

Aberdeenshire is place to be for warmth today. Fyvie Castle is seeing it’s warmest March temps since 2002 according to STV Weatherman Sean Batty. Fyvie and Dyce are both 18.2C (64F) as of 3pm.

While the best and warmest of the weather is focused upon Aberdeenshire and severalof the sunnier spots across the East of England, Midlands and Southeast, Thursday looks likely to be the best day for sunshine throughout Scotland following a chilly, possibly frosty start for rural areas, towns and cities will likely stay above freezing and frost free.

With the exceptions of parts of Aberdeenshire, many areas across the country will likely see their warmest temps of 2012 so far thanks to widespread very sunny, near cloudless skies and light south winds. This will help boost temps widely to between 13-16C across Scotland, From the North of England southwards, inland, sheltered areas may see 17-19C tomorrow. Read More!
