Mild, Settled Blocking High Remains Anchored Over UK/Ireland Through This Week, Large-scale Changes From Weekend Onwards!

FIRSTHAND WEATHER

UK-Ireland

Through this week, the ridge of high pressure will continue to bring settled, mild weather to all parts of the UK and Ireland, albeit cloudy with mist and drizzle. Eastern areas always favour the most sunshine and it’s here that those temperatures day after day will soar to between 16-18C. Eleswhere generally 10-14C.

The concerns are growing as we continue to experience May-like warmth and it only early March. I believe for the past 12-18 months now, high pressure has been more persistent and stronger than normal in direct link to the drought. READ MORE!
