Weather Talk

Bubble of warmth

There is a bubble of warm air covering the UK right now and allowing daytime highs to push well into the 70s and may well top the low to even mid-80s tomorrow and Sunday and the CENTER/CORE of high pressure is now on top of the UK which is forcing more clearer skies than than cloud. Stringer high pressure supresses cloud formation as the air warms aloft and thus forcing stronger surface warming. Sea breezes are igniting storms of a spotty isoltaed nature across the UK, particularly where cool winds blow up mountain sides!

High tomorrow should top 80 for the south of UK and low to mid-70s for Scotland!
